When Ramon came back from his brother's we undertook some nice things together: we went to Santa Monica and had some drinks in a boulevard-cafe. The next day, we went to an organic farm meeting where we assisted Ramon in providing people with information about genetically engineered food. This was quite fun, because it was so easy to distribute those flyers most of all because people were interested in where we came from. Hmm, you do have an accent, where are you from originally? Oh, Holland?! Blah blah blah and another flyer for you and your friend. That night we went to a small party where we were supposed to have a drink next to the swimming pool on the terrific roof terrace of this downtown hotel. The only problem was that there was a certain event (auditions or interviews for a music TV canal) going on which meant that we were not allowed to go to the rooftop That was a pity, especially because Bas and Ramon had been very busy that evening deciding what to wear. I made some pictures so here you can see the result of the try-on-and-turn-around session. Well hanging around in the lounge of this luxurious hotel was also quite nice.

The pictures down here show some things that we did in Universal Studios (the Waterwold show, the 'waterscreen' used in the movie 'The Truman Show' and Bas catching Jaws), they show the place where we stayed and finally they give an impression of our evening out in downtown LA.
